UMS of Loum center back Landry Cedric Djomo,25 has resumed full training ahead of the club’s first game of the season against AS Vita this weekend.
The big central defender was pivotal to the club’s good defensive show last season but unfortunately picked up a nasty injury at Odza-Yaounde in the first game of last season’s League 1 playoffs against Dragon of Yaounde.
Djomo stayed out for 2 months but he has recovered from what appeared to be a a jaw bone fracture and could be in UMS’s squad for this weekend’s CAF Champions League game against AS Vita of DRC.
“I am fine now and ready to play but it will depend on the coach and what we want to do on the day” Djomo told kick442.com
The former Olympic Lion Joined UMS of Loum last season on a 2 year deal from fellow League 1 side Feutcheu FC of Djiko Bandjoun. He has been the main man at the back for UMS since his arrival.
Last season Djomo was named in the LFPC team of the season.
