Oumarou Abdouram scored at the 72nd minute to hand Feutcheu FC a much needed win away to UMS of Loum, to bring them back to the top half of the league table.

Inconsistency has cost Feutcheu FC in recent weeks and that again looked as if it will haunt them again today at the Molyko Omnisports Stadium in Buea.

But Oumarou headed home a fine cross from Mejo Mvondo at the 72nd minute to earn a vital triumph for Njuku Ntow’s men.

The victory for Feutcheu FC will take their points tally for the season to 15 and put them amongst the top five clubs.

UMS of Loum came into this game on th back of comprehensive 0-3 win over Union of Douala over the weekend in Limbe, they almost took the lead just three minutes into the game when Jean Emmanuel Tchandjou failed to connect with Tombi Alemi’s fine cross.

Seven minutes later, Tchandjou turned provider but Vidal flopped his lines just a few meters from goal.

Feutcheu FC’s first chance of the first half was a timid long range effort from Junior Jarkba.

Jarkba again combined with Jose Ntamark but Ntamack’s well taken short went narrowly off target.

Feutcheu kept the pressure and almost break the deadlock at the 35th minute when UMS’ goalkeeper Camille Noah Omolo’s weak shot was intercepted by Ntamack, he set up Oumarou Abdouraman but his shot came off the wood work as the goalkeeper was caught in no man’s land.

The best chance of the game so far fell to Tabi Ayuk Vidal, at the 67th minute, when he was carefully picked up be a perfect cross from Tchandjou but his shot failed to beat the outstanding Eric Sandjo in goal for Feutcheu FC.

Feutcheu FC then took the advantage five minute later through Oumarou.

They almost made it 0-2 when Junior Jarkba outplayed Joel Owono Mbassegue and played a telling ball into the box and UMS’ make shift left-back Landry Djomo was beating by the onrushing Kameni but his closed range diving header failed to stay between the three sticks.

Feutcheu FC were by far the better team of the game and almost doubled their advantage at the 89th minute when substitute Eloundou’s free-kick drew a fine save from goalkeeper Omolo.
