Umar Sadiq scored two goals for his Spanish La Liga 2 side, Almeria as they played out a 2-2 draw with R. Oviedo on Saturday.
The 2016 Rio Olympics bronze medalist scored the opening goal for Almeria from the penalty spot in the 22nd minute.
Eight minutes later, he doubled his side’s lead off Equatorial Guinea’s Sergio Akieme’s assist.
In the second half, Almeria surrendered their two-goal lead as Oviedo scored two goals from Ghana’s Samuel Obeng and Simone Grippo.
Umar Sadiq played for the duration of the game and received a yellow card in the 88th minute.
The two goals took his league tally to 18 with three assists.
Almeria occupied the third position on the league table with 63 points from 37 games.
They will visit Tenerife on May 7, 2021, in their next game.
