The management of PWD Social Football Club of Bamenda, has revealed that they will be taking legal actions against Algerian side Entente Sportive Sétifienne, for the illegal transfer of their player Andre Ulrich Zanga Ayissi.
ES Sétif announced on Wednesday evening that they have secured the services of the 25_year_old midfielder, alongside Ayoub Mhamed Tazouti Ghellam, but the management of the 2021 Cameroon cup winners PWD, has insisted that Zanga is still under contract at the club and they’re not aware of his move to Sétif.
“PWD SFC of Bamenda has not been contacted for the transfer of ANDRE ULRICH ZANGA AYISSI by any club neither have we authorized the the player to travel for any negotiations,” Francis Aliwoh, Sporting director of the Abakwa Boys told kick442.com shortly after the player was announced by ES Sétif.
“ULRICH ZANGA AYISSI remains a player of PWD Bamenda as he is still under contract with the club until 2023,” he added.
Zanga joined PWD in March this year on a two_years deal, but has spend just five months at the club, during which he won the Cameroon cup, and made 20 league appearances for the club.
The versatile midfielder, can also operate as a right back and center back, has joined The Black One on a deal reported to be two years, but both the player and club are now facing a tug of war with the Abakwa Boys.
