Astres of Douala have completed their first signing of the close season transfer window following the arrival of Ulrich Ndong from eternal rivals Bamboutos FC of Mbouda.
The Brazilians of Bepanda have captured the rigorious defender on a two-year deal finalized this Wednesday afternoon at Astres’ headquarter in Douala.
Ndong is currently enjoying his best ever Elite One season as he is part the Bamboutos of Mbouda team that reached the final of the cup of Cameroon following their 2-0 win against Avion Academy last weekend.
The imposing full-back is expected to end his two year stay with the Mangwa Boys after the cup final game against Cotonsport, on a date to be announced.
So far, the defender has made 24 appearances for Bamboutos FC and is expected to play a part on the day of the final.
Ndong, 23 is part of Cameroon’s Olympic Lions team and is considered one of the most reliable in his role in the Cameroon top-flight championship.
The close season transfer window in Cameroon opened last monthday and is expected to run for eight weeks.
