The Uganda Cranes team has today evening set off from Entebbe Airport to Ethiopia.
The travelling team composed of 22 players as named by the Coach Micho, and they are set to have two friendly games against Ethiopia on Friday and Sunday.
Bobosi Byahuranga and Halid Lwaliwa were not part of the team as the Cranes Coach Micho said in press that they securing international moves.
Still Vipers SC forward again Yunus Ssentamus missed due to personal reasons while Muhammad Shaban who has returned to his former Club Kcca FC was also not part.
The Uganda Cranes after the two friendly games will then on Monday head to Zanzibar for an acclimatization camp, play a friendly on Wednesday then connect to Tanzania on Friday.
The Uganda cranes play Tanzania on Sunday 28th August at Benjamin Mpaka Stadium in a Chan Qualifier before return leg on 3rd September at St Marys Stadium.
The winner on aggregate between the two Nations will automatically qualify for the Chan Tournament slated for January next year in Algeria.
