Nigeria’s Peter Olayinka had an assist for Slavia Prague as they were forced to a 1-1 draw by 2020/2021 Scottish Premiership Champions, Glasgow Rangers in their UEFA Europa League Round of 16 first-leg tie on Thursday.
Slavia Prague’s Nicolae Stanciu perfectly collected a pass on the edge of the penalty area from Peter Olayinka. He produced a nice strike into the right side of the goal to give the host the lead in the seventh minute.
Rangers equalised in the 36th minute when Ianis Hagi sprayed a pass out to Filip Helander, who had an easy job to slot the ball into an empty net.
Olayinka saw 46 minutes of action before he was replaced by Lukas Masopust. He has scored two goals in seven UEFA Europa League games this season for Slavia Prague.
Joe Aribo played for 81 minutes before he was replaced by Kemar Roofe.
Leon Balogun was not dressed for the game.
The return leg of the game will take place on March 18, 2021, in Scotland.
