Super Eagles midfielder, Samuel Chimerenka Chukwueze scored his first goal in the UEFA Europa League in the course of Villareal’s 0-1 away win over Olanrewaju Kayode’s Sivasspor on Thursday, www.kick442.com reports.
After a goalless first half, Chukwueze scored the solitary goal of the game to give his side (Villareal) the away win. He scored the lone goal in the 75th minute at the Yeni Sivas 4 Eylül Stadyumu.
Chukwueze played for the duration of the UEFA Europa League game.
The goal was Chukwueze’s second goal of the season for Villareal after scoring his first goal during Villareal’s 2-0 win over Real Valladolid on November 2, 2020.
Chukwueze also scored a goal for Super Eagles during their disappointing 4-4 draw against Sierra Leone in the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) Qualifiers at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City on November 13, 2020.
