Cameroon international, Alvine Njolle and her FK Minsk side have been handed a tricky tie in the 8th finals of the UEFA women’s champions league, as they face Spanish giants, FC Barcelona.

The draw was made this Monday, and Alvine and her FK Minsk teammates will have to travel to the Estadi Johan Cruyff between the 16 and 17 of October 2019 for the first leg round of 16, before Barcelona ladies make a return visit to the Minsk Stadion between the 30th and 31st of October.

FK Minsk progressed to the eighth finals, after recording a 4#1 aggregate win over FC Zurich, while Barcelona recorded a similar 4#1 aggregate win over Juventus.

Minsk are the first Belarusian side to compete in this round. They lost to Barcelona in the 2016/2017 season, in the round of 32, and will be hoping for a good run this time around, against past finalist. Alvine Njolle will have to battle it out against fellow African, Asisat Oshala.
