The performances of Indomitable Lions involved were average with Karl Toko Ekambi’s Villarreal one leg into the next round after a 3-1 win over Zenit St Petersburg although the Cameroonian watched from the bench The others barely managed draws and a defeat in this first leg matches.

MICHAEL NGADEU –SLAVIA PRAHA

KARL TOKO EKAMBI- VILLAREAL

JEROME ONGUENE- RED BULL SALZBURG

Jerome Onguene scored a 58th minute own goal as Red Bull Salzburg lost heavily to Napoli in Italy.
