Real Madrid 2-2 Club Brugge
Nigeria’s Emmanuel Dennis was the star of the game as he grabbed a brace at the Bernabeau to help his club force former champions, Real Madrid to a 2-2 draw. Dennis put Club Brugge ahead in the 9th minute with an assist from South African, Percy Tau.
In the 39th minute, Emmanuel Bonaventure Dennis again raced through, past Sergio Ramos again, and is one-on-one with Thibaut Courtois.
It’s another moment of comedy though, as he stumbles just as he’s about to shoot. Somehow, he keeps his balance and pokes it over the keeper to make it Real Madrid 0-2 Club Brugge at halftime.
Second half goals from Real Madrid captain, Sergio Ramos (controversial though due to offside call either VAR review) and Casemiro completes the Galacticos comeback.
Emmanuel Dennis was replaced by Openda in the 71st minute.
Emmanuel Dennis’ goal for Club Brugge is the earliest they have ever scored in a Champions League game (8 minutes, 9 seconds). He is the third Nigerian to score against Real Madrid in the competition, after James Obiorah and Ayila Yussuf.
Dennis had earlier on promised his fans to draw a tattoo if he scores at Bernabeau.

Lokomotiv Moscow 0-2 Atletico Madrid
Bryan Idowu was a 33rd minute substitute for Lokomotiv Moscow in their 0-2 home loss to Diego Simeone Atletico Madrid. He replaced Zhemaletdinov.
