Under 17 Lions last Training session in Rwanda ahead of departure for Tanzania, Djembe Nestor is second on the Queue

The head coach of the Under 17 Lions of Cameroon Thomas Liibih has named Cameroon’s Starting XI to face Paraguay this Sunday. It is the first outing for both nations participating in the 2019 UEFA assists tournament in Instanbul.

Captain Fabrice Ndzie missed the AFCON Final and Cameroon’s last competitive game due to suspension, he returns in place of Bere François. He will lead the team from the defense where he is partnered by Ze Essono,Ngolna Patrice, Ricky Ngatchou and Dibongue Jordan.

The defense line is coach’s Liibih’s regular option and Cameroon’s goal this Sunday is protected by first choice keeper Ekoi Manfred.

In the midfield, captain and Most Valuable Player at the 2019 Under 17 AFCON Steve Mvoue leads the midfield where he is partnered by “man of the match” in the final against Guinea, Daouda Amadou and Under 17 UNNIFAC 2018 MVP Alioum Seidou.

Cameroon’s last UEFA assist tournament’s topscorer Wamba Leonel and 2019 FERWAFA-BINEWA invitational tournament topscorer Yannick Noah leads the attack for coach Limbe.

The game is expected to kickoff at 2:30 PM Cameroon time and it is one of three games Cameroon will have to play in Instanbul as part of their preparations for the upcoming Under 17 FIFA World Cup tournament in Brazil.
