Bayern Munich head coach Hansi Flick has included Cameroon-eligible duo Eric Choupo-Moting and Bright Akwo Arrey-Mbi in their traveling squad of 22 players heading to Madrid for the match-day four UEFA Champions League game against Atletico Madrid.
31-year-old Choupo-Moting was an unused substitute in Bayern’s game over the weekend just like teenager Mbi in the last Champions League game.
Both players have made the match-day squad for the game.
The European Champions have secured a place in the last season of the 2020-2021 tournament and are using this game to rest some key players while hoping others return from injuries.
With four wins in four, Bayern are seven points better than Atletico Madrid going into the fixture at the Wanda metropolitan.
Choupo-Moting has featured in one of PSG’s four games in the competition this season while Arrey-Mbi, winner of the competition last season awaits his competition debut at the age of 17.
Key players Manuel Neuer, Jonathan Alaba amongst others have been either rested or injured thus missing the game.
