Super Eagles defender, Zaidu Sanusi, and his Portuguese side, FC Porto have been drawn to play English Premier League side, Chelsea Football Club in the quarter-final of the 2020/2021 UEFA Champions League.
Friday’s draw pitted the former Champions League winners together after Zaidu Sanusi and FC Porto eliminated Cristiano Ronaldo’s Juventus in the Round of 16.
The first leg of the tie will take place on April 6, 2021, with the return leg on April 13, 2021.
Zaidu Sanusi has scored two goals for FC Porto this season (one in the league and one in the UEFA Champions League) since joining them from another Portuguese side, Santa Clara.
He is the only Super Eagles player left in this season’s UEFA Champions League.
Manchester City will host Dortmund, defending Champions; Bayern Munich will trade tackle with PSG in the repeat of last season’s final, while Real Madrid and Liverpool face up in the repeat of the 2017/2018 final in other quarter-final fixtures.
