Tanzania’s Boxing superstar Twaha Kiduku will take on Congolese-South africa based boxer Alex Kabangu, in a Vacant Universal Boxing Organization (UBO) African Super middleweight match, on saturday March 26 at Tanzanite Hall, Morogoro, Tanzania.
The duo have already signed their contracts for that highly anticipated bout, live on Azam TV, which will see Kiduku fight in his born town for the first time since 2019, when he smashed his fellow Tanzanian Mada Maugo.
Kiduku (18-8-1, 8 KOs), is one of Tanzania’s most decorated fighters, last August he defeated his super middleweight rival Dullah Mbabe for the second time, therefore the 30-year-old Kiduku hopes to score the upset and a spot among the Super middleweight elites by defeating Kabangu.
Kiduku said, “It’s an amazing opportunity to fight again in my home town, so i will make sure my Morogoro’s people are happy, i’am well prepared for the fight with my team, i know Kabangu is a good boxer with full experience, so people in Morogoro and Tanzania have to wait for the highly entertaining match.”
Kabangu (5-3-3, 2 KOs), this will be his second tour in Tanzania after Hussein Itaba draw in November, 2020 in his first trip. several times Promoters featured the congolese but things fall down, but Seleman Semunyu a Tanzanian military officer Seleman who is Promoting the fight via his own company Peaktime media, states “This is a real fight, must happen, people have to wait for the boxing entertainment.”
