The first leg of the first round of the under seventeen women world cup qualifiers which began on Friday saw Zambia defeat South Africa two goals to nil while Morocco pip Botswana by a lone goal.
Two first half goals was all the Zambia girls needed to triumph over Southern neighbours South Africa.
Zambia’s Malunga scored the first goal from a Banda assist in the 18th minutes while the second goal came at the stroke of half time.
The return leg comes up in Johannesburg on 14th March, 2020.
Morocco also started well in the first round as they defeated Botswana by a lone goal in Botswana.
Morocco scored the only goal in the first half to give themselves an advantage when at home fortnightly for the second leg.
The second leg comes up on 14th March, 2020.
On Sunday, Tanzania play Uganda as Sao Tome play Cameroon.
