Cameroon have achieved their best ever finish in the Men’s U21 African Nations Championship with the silver medal in 2021’s edition.
Cameroon whose best performance has only given them a bronze medal in 1984 and 1998, gave a good account in this year’s round rubbing affair to finish as the second beat team behind Egypt.
A top performance saw Cameroon put to sword Congo Dr in straight set ; 25-19, 25-15 and 25-14 on Wednesday.
Cameroon had only lost to the eventual winners to have a 2/3 record ahead of Morocco who had 1/3 record.
Beating Morocco 3-1 in their first game, all but made things a bit easier for success to be attained.
