The Under-20 national selection of Cameroon are off to a perfect start in the ongoing youth African Nations cup tournament in Mauritania.
Jang Sunday Junior scored the lone goal for the boys of coach Christophe Osmanou off a defensive error in the 81st minute to give the Lions a lead that lasted till the end.
The Lions held the host for the opening half of the game retiring to the dressing room goalless.
Upon resumption for the second segment Cameroon up their collective action dominating possession and restricting the host breaks in the counter.
Dang Sunday finally break the deadlock in the 81st minute putting the Lions ahead.
Cameroon protected the lead till full-time thus earning three points from the win.
The Lions go top of the group ahead of their next group games against Uganda and Mozambique who face each other on Monday.
