In Friday’s encounters between teams in group C, points were shared as Ghana and Morocco ended 0-0 while Tanzania played one all with Gambia.
In a game where Ghana did the playing while Morocco looked dangerous to score, but it yielded no goals.
The two teams with the result, remain top of the group with points respectively.
The Total Man of the Match went to Moroccan El Mehdi El Moubarik.
In the other group match, Tanzanian earlier on, came from behind to take a point that could turn out to become vital at the end of the day.
The Taifa Stars were down by a goal to nil after Gambia’s Momodou Bojang with great technique dealt perfectly a pass into the net at the dead of half time.
However, the scoreline didn’t deter the Tanzanians who continued in their fine display.
The pressure piled finally paid off as Novatus Dismas’ freekick bounced off the goalkeeper to put to end the tie in a one all draw.
Gambia’s Kajally Drammeh was awarded the Rotal Man of the Match after the game.
