The Under-17 Lionesses of Cameroon will take of their Zambian counterparts in the next round of the under-17 FIFA World cup qualifier, kick442.com has gathered.
This comes after both nations secured a walk over in the ongoing Under-17 FIFA World Cup qualifiers for the African zone.
Cameroon who were given a bye in the first round secured a passage to the third round following Eritrea’s late withdrawal from the qualifiers while Zambia that had been scheduled to face Namibia also qualified in similar circumstances.
Though Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) is yet to make an official statement to this effect though the initial pairings have it that Cameroon will face Zambia in the next round of matches, sometime in April.
Women’s U-17 World Cup was to be held at five venues in India from November 2-21, 2020 and later moved to October 2022.
As the tournament itself is few months away, the qualifying events for Africa is on and Cameroon versus Zambia is one of the big ties next month.
