Cameroon came from behind to beat host Rwanda 3-1 in a thrilling day one action of a Pre-Tournament competition Friday at the Stade Regional De Kigali,Rwanda.
The competition expected to run from the 29th of March to April 4th is organized by FERWAFA & BINEWA Sports management and serves as a build up for the baby Lions of Cameroon ahead of the 2019 U-17 AFCON in Tanzania.

Goals from Bere François,Wamba Leonel and Steve Mvoue were enough to help beat Rwanda who put up a stunning performance in Kigali.
Nyarugabo Moise scored for Rwanda at the 25th minute following a header from a corner kick to put the home side ahead.
The under 17 national team of Rwanda almost doubled scores at the 34 th minute but Cameron shot stopper Ekoi Manfred prevented the scare for Cameroon.
Two minutes later,Bere Fancois pounce on a wonderful set piece to level scores for Cameroon. The pre-tournament invitees took the lead at 38 minute with Leonel Wamba scoring from a quasi overhead kick.
Upon resumption for the second half,Cameroon U-17 Lions got a chance to increase tally but the beautiful combination from Camal Ryan and Mvoue Steve was stoped and cleared by Rwanda’s defender Niyomugisha Eny.
Steve Mvoue converted a penalty following a foul on Leonel Wamba by goal keeper Hakizimana Adolphe of Rwanda to make it 3-1 for Cameroon.
Rwanda intensified pressure towards the final minutes of the game but Cameroon goalkeeper kept their threats at Bay.
The Under 17 Lions of Cameroon will face Tanzania U-17 squad on April 1st in their next outing.
