Cameroon league one champions, PWD Social club of Bamenda is set to leave Bamenda on Thursday September 17, 2020, for Limbe in the South West region, where they will continue their preparations for the upcoming football season.

The team will be on a one week training camp at the Njalla Quan Sports Academy, at the Man O War Bay, before they will later travel to Equatorial Guinea, where they are scheduled to play FUTURO Kings in a friendly game on September 27, at the Malabo stadium.

Few hours to the officially opening of their one week camping in Limbe, kick442.com has it on high authority that a striker and a central defender of foreign origin, will be joining the team in Limbe.

The duo all of Nigerian origin, are 25_year_old HAMZAT ONOTU IBRAHIM (defender), and 21_year_old striker, Emmanuel Samuel ONYEKWENI. They are expected to land in Cameroon on Thursday.

Both players spend last season with Benin Premier league side ESAE FC [École Supérieure d’Administration et d’Économie Football Club], where they won the league in the 2018_2019 season, and were ranked second before the Coronavirus pandemic interrupted the 2019_2020 season.

HAMZAT and Emmanuel Samuel are leaving the Sakété based club, with much experience, haven played the CAF inter_club competition on several occasions. During their time at the Rene Pleven Stadium, Akpakpa, they have faced big names like Salitas FC, Zanaco, and RS Berkane, amongst others.

They are expected to sign for PWD in the days ahead. This will add up the number of new arrivals at the club, after they had previously announced Goalkeeper Haschou Kerrido, Midfielders, Vincent Paul Ngondi and Mfede Alexandre and Forward, Duhamel Kalamandji Mabengue.

Coach David Pagou and his boys are lining up a series of friendlies both home and abroad, as they intensify preparations for the CAF champions league.
