Indomitable Lions of Cameroon and BB Erzurumspor’s defender Adolphe Teikeu Kamgang was one of the three scorers for hia side in their dramatic 3-2 Turkish cup victory against Ankara Dermispor this Thursday in the fourth round of the competition.
Teikeu and his compatriot Petrus Boumal started the game for host BB Erzurumspor.
The experienced sweeper,Teikeu equalized for his side in the 89th minute forcing the game into extra time.
What looked like an easy game on paper started well for the host who took the lead from a spot-kick in the 22nd minute through Jugurtha Hamroun ended up being a real contest.
Süleyman Güneş leveled scores just before the break with a 44th minute strike but the drama was far from over.
Turkish forward Serdar Eylik gave the visitors the lead in the 80th minute putting the host in a situation to score to keep their cup dreams alive.
Teikeu’s responded with an equalizer in the 89th minute forcing the game into extra time.
Hamroun scored his second on the struck of half time in the first segment of extra time to make it 3-2.
The host protected the lead till the end of the game, walking away with the qualification ticket for the next round of the competition.
