Tunisian outfit Etoile du Sahel are so serious about signing 2022 MTN Elite One top scorer Bin Adolf Nkembe Enow. So much so that, according to Allezleslion.net they have already made a first offer to the player and his parent club, AS Fortuna. They have put 58 million FCFA on the table as offer to sign the 22-year old forward deadly in front of goal.
Etoile are surely aware of the interest that Nkembe is arousing in half the world.
Big clubs such as Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Hearts of Oak among others are interested in the centre-forward’s services.
The multiple Tunisian champions wants a forward who can break a bombproof defense and have settled foe Nkembe.
The one time Dragon and Colombe goal poacher is very much to the taste of Etoile manager Ikbel Rouatbi but talks about the switch are still on course.
The ‘Pearl of the Coast’ have reportedly made a move for the ex-YOSA and APEJES of Mfou finisher hoping to get an okay from Fortuna and the man who scored close to half of their goals last season.
The answer: “no” or “yes” depends on president Roger Noah of Fortuna, but they are clear that they aren’t going to gift Enow on the back of a 19 goals season with the golden boot to show for it.
Scorer of all types of goals since his top-flight debut in Cameroon has put Enow’s asking price very high, though it is not known. Which ever club wants him will have to present a satisfactory sum to Fortuna, not a penny less.
Playing abroad wont be a challenge to Enow as he previously played in the USA and in Albania and matched his form from his early days as a 16-year old at Dream Soccer Academy.
Etoile noted for their successes over the years amounting to ten domestic league and cup crowns in 97 years of existence only finished 5th last term. Enow’s recruitment has the potential on putting them back in title contest with the likes of Esperance, CS Sfaxien and Club Africain.
