The agent of Franco-Cameroonian midfielder Tristan Dingomé has thrown some light on the Reims midfielder’s future.
Dingomé is close to the end of his current contract with Reims, but the former Monaco and Troyes midfielder is yet to extend his contract with the French Ligue 1 outfit.
Talks of a possible contract prolongation were underway, but everything is now on standby.
The player’s agent Djibril Niang said the talks have been put on hold as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic.
“Everything is on hold with Reims concerning his[Dingomé] contractual situation. We will definitely make progress after the confinement period,” Djibril Niang told Top Mercato.
The 29-year-old Monaco youth product moved to Reims in June 2018 on a-three-year contract for a fee of €1 million from Troyes.
The potential Indomitable Lion of Cameroon has played in 18 games this season across all competitions, 15 of them in the French Ligue 1, though his season has been marred by injuries.
