Potential indomitable Lions of Cameroon midfielder Tristan Dingome put up a great display again to help his French Ligue 1 Club, Troyes pinch a point off in-form visitors Olympique Marseille on Sunday.
Dingome who had recorded three assists and two goals before the game
put up a great performance again this season.
The newly-promoted French Ligue 1 side came into the game in the back of last Sunday’s 1-4 dropping in the hands of Stade Rennes and were keen on making amends.
The visitors were ahead as early as the 26th minute as their experienced skipper Dimitri Payet converted from the penalty spot.
The visitors kept the lead till the break but unfortunately the host came back better in second-half.
Dingome again showed his industry throughout 90 minutes before playing a role in the equalizer.
Just when it was looking like a 1-0 win for Marseille, forward Yoann Touzghar leveled for the host in the 90th minute.
Dingome started the run that led to the goal in what was a great game for him in his 17 league outing this season.
The 1-1 draw in the match-day 26 fixture amounts to a seventh draw for the newcomers who are just out of the drop zone on the 17th spot with 22 points.
Tristan Dingome has played 17 games, assisted four goals and scored twice for Troyes this season.
Dingome continues to display his class on return to the French Ligue 1 championship.
Troyes will face Bordeaux of Jean Emile Onana in Match-Day 27 of the Ligue 1 championship on Sunday, in a game that will mark the clash of two Cameroon-descent midfielders.
Dingome remains uncapped for Cameroon though he recieved an invitation during the country’s preparation for the 2019 AFCON tournament in Egypt, but was later dropped due to an injury.
