Premier League outfis Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal have opened the hunt for the signature of 22-year old Zambian forward Patson Daka on the books of Austrian giants Red Bull Salzburg.
Reports from multiple tabloids in England say, the red-hot striker who has scored 27 goals in 31 appearances across all competitions for Red Bull Salzburg this term will receive bids from the Etihad, Anfield and the Emirates in the summer.
Daka is likely to be the hottest property on the books of the Die Mozartstädter this summer barely a year after they let go of Erling Haaland.
Salzburg who has banked on recruiting exciting youngsters for glory were made to sell Sadio Mane, Naby Keïta, Takumi Minamino, and Erling Haaland.
Patson Daka has put up impressive figures for Salzburg in the past two seasons.
Other European clubs are actively monitoring his progress with the Zambian international tipped to make a move out of Australia.
Last season, he break Mwape Miti’s record to become the first Zambian to score 20 goals or more for a European club. He is doing more this term.
The 2017 CAF Youth player for the year has won three Bundesliga titles since joining RB Salzburg in 2017 on a five-year contract. He helped the club to a domestic double last season.
Daka extended his contract with Salzburg until the summer of 2024 on December 18, 2019. It unlikely for him to see out his contract at the Club.
