Multiple sources in Spain are reporting that Real Madrid manager,Zinedine Zidane has identified Cameroonian midfielder, Andre Franck Zambo Anguissa, 24 as a transfer target for the Merengue’s.

Madrid outlet, Dario has it that the current Real Madrid boss was impressed by Zambo’s display during the Real’s 2-2 draw against Villarreal in September.

The same source says the Madrid boss wants Zambo as cover for the Brazilian midfielder Casemiro who currently stands as the lone holding midfielder.

The Cameroon international has been ever-present in the Villarreal this season. He has featured in 17 of 18 Villarreal’s games season putting up an exceptional performance on multiple occasions.

He has scored once in the league and appeared in the team of the week on multiple occasions.

The former AS Fortuna and Cotonsport midfielder have had a remarkable rise to stardom in the last 2 years.

He switched to Fulham after the 2018 season at Marseille.In his last campaign at Marseille, he played over 35 games but struggled for form with Fulham who were relegated to the championship last season.

The Cameroonian is currently on loan at Villarreal from Fulham with an option for a permanent transfer at 25 Million Euros.

Should Real get into the Zambo’s case this January or in the summer, they will have to enter direct negotiations with Fulham FC.
