2017 AFCON Champion Fabrice Joseph Ebogo Ondoa, 22 has been linked with a return to Spain. This comes just above a year after he switched from Sevilla B to Belgian top flight side KV Ostende.
The talented shot stopper is still to be seen on the pitch this season in Belgium and reports on the Spanish media says Spanish Segunda B side Almeria want to bring the goalkeeper back to where his journey in European football began.
Ondoa has made 22 appearances in all competitions since joining KV Ostende. He is currently contracted at the club till the summer of 2022 but with the lack of game time and his desire to provide more proves for more chances for country moving to a lower tier competition should be an option for Ondoa.
Recruited at Ostende on the recommendation of former Cameroon head Coach and current sporting director of KV Ostende Hugo Henry Broos, Ondoa maybe leaving Belgium soon.Talks are ongoing between Almeria and Ostende officials.
Ondoa has previously played for Barcelona B and Sevilla B in Spain.
