Romanian Division 1 side Astra Giurgui have announced their decision to cancel their contract with 27 year old Cameroonian striker Jacques Zoua Daougari with immediate effect.
The big Cameroonian forward joined the club as a free agent in September 2018 and scored one goal 3 games into his debut but has since struggled to cement a place in the first team.
He leaves the club less than a year into his two and half year deal after scoring 1 goal in 22 matches.
Coach Costel Enache left the Cameroonian out of his squad that picked up the a 2-1 home win over FCSB on Monday and sources in Romania say the club have confirmed their intentions to end their working relationship through termination of the contract that had to run till 30/06/2021.
A product from the rich Cotonsport of Garoua production line, Zoua has played in France,Germany, Switzerland, Belgium,Turkey and Romania at just 27.

The 2017 AFCON winner and one of Cameroon’s center forwards at the 2019 tournament in Egypt now has to get a new club for himself through his entourage before the end of the current transfer window.
