Three players have left Saint-Etienne to join Nancy in the French Ligue 2.
19 year old midfielder Kenny Rocha has moved permanently from Saint Etienne to Nancy while 21 year old forward Makhtar Gueye and 23 year old Vagner Dias Gonclaves have joint on loan without the option to make the moves permanent.
Kenny Rocha arrived at Saint Etienne in 2015 and signed his first professional contract at the age of 16. He made his Ligue 1 debut at the age of 17.
In the 2016-2017 season he played three top flight games for them.
The following season Rocha was sent to the reserves’ team and actively took part in their promotion to the fourth tier (National 2).
Last season the Cape Verde international midfielder extended his contract with Saint Etienne till 2023 and scored his first goal with the first team in the French Cup and helped the youth team win the Gambardella Cup.
For 21 year old Senegalese forward Makhtar Gueye, his contract with Saint Etienne runs till 2023.
For the other Cape Verde international 23 year old Vagner Dias Gonçlaves, he spent last season on loan with Nancy and helped them beat the drop with six goals and two assists.
He is returning to a championship he knows very well already.
Before his loan move this season to Nancy, Saint Etienne extended his contract with them till 2022.
