PWD Social Football Club of Bamenda has agreed a deal to sign right back Eric Api Enjenwei from Astres of Douala.
The 26_year_old versatile full back, scored one goal and provided seven assists for the Brazilians of Bepanda in the just ended campaign.
Api’s lone goal was in Astres’ 4#1 win over APEJES on March 31, 2022, as he was Anicet Mbarga Foe’s preferred right back option, ahead of Romeo Tchamda and Nicolas Joel Owona Mbassegue.
The native of Ngie from the North West Region of Cameroon, played an instrumental role in Astres finishing top of Pool A. He featured in in one of Astres’ two games during the playoffs in Garoua, missing just the classification game against Canon of Yaoundé.
Api played 90 minutes during the Cameroon cup final on March 13 this year, when his side was beaten by PWD of Bamenda.

The 2017 Cameroon cup winner with New Stars of Douala, joined Astres in December that year (2017), and has spend the past four seasons at the littoral based club.
Kick442.com understands that the former École de Football les Brasseries du Cameroun graduate, agreed personal teams with CAF Confederation cup bound Abakwa Boys since June, and the club is now set to announce the deal in the days ahead.
The Abakwa Boys ran short of options at the defense midway last season, following injuries to Burinyuy Derrick, Ngwang Brian Nyaba, Billy Samin and the departure of Boung Joel Ondoa.
Api Enjenwei has been subject of transfer interest from the likes of Canon of Yaounde, and even Astres who proposed a bumper new deal for the right back, but he has opted for a new challenge with the Abakwa Boys.
