Former Astres of Douala pair Jourdain Mbaynaissem and Kamta Tchinda, have agreed terms to join 10 times Cameroon league winners Canon Sportif of Yaounde.
28_year_old goalkeeper Jourdain Mbaynaissem, who has spend the last three seasons in the books of the Brazilians of Bepanda, has now agreed to swap the Douala based club for th KpaKum.
Kick442.com understands that Mbaynaissem agreed terms with officials of Canon of Yaounde on Tuesday in Yaounde, though the duration of his contract with the three times CAF Champions League winners, is yet to be made known.
The shot stopper kept nine clean sheets in 13 games during the first phase of the Elite one championship in Pool A, and went ahead to ensure that Astres of Douala finished top of the Pool. Though Mbaynaissem and his Astres teammates failed to continue their scintillating run during the league’s playoffs in Garoua and eventually losing the third place to Canon of Yaounde, the experienced goalie has been deemed the man to add more completion to Canon’s goalkeeping compartment, which already has the likes of James Djaoyang.
Kamta Tchinda
Another Player who has swapped Astres for Canon, is 25_year_old midfielder Garrick Didier Kamta Tchinda.

Tchinda was spotted alongside Mbaynaissem at the Canon head office in Tuesday, and our sources have revealed that it is just a matter of time before the KpaKum makes an official announcement on the acquisition of the duo.
