Veteran Cameroon goalkeeper Idriss Carlos Kameni has left Turkish Club Fenerbahçe after two difficult years.

The 35 year old goalkeeper made just 14 appearances for the Turkish club since joining them in 2017.

His contract with the club was terminated on mutual consent with one year left.

Kameni played notably for Espanyol Barcelona and Malaga in Spain.

He made over 200 appearances for Espanyol since joining them in 2004 before joining Malaga in 2012, where he played till his move to Fenerbahçe in 2017.

The Cameroon Olympic Gold Medal winner in 2000 in Sydney will be looking for a new challenge.

Idriss Carlos Kameni has won 74 caps for Cameroon and was part of their team in five AFCONs including the 2019 tournament in Egypt.
