French Ligue 1 side AS Monaco have announced the departure of Nigerian forward Henry Chukwuemeka Onyekuru to Turkish side Galatasaray of Istanbul on a-six-months loan deal without the option to buy him.
Onyekuru joint AS Monaco in August 2019 for an undisclosed fee rumoured to be around £12 to £15 million, from English Premier League side Everton.
He joint the Merseyside outfit in 2017 from Belgian club Eupen, but failed to make a single league appearance for them.
He was first loaned out to Anderlecht in Belgium for the 2017-2018 season, then to Galatasaray for the 2018-2019 season where his 14 league goals in 31 matches helped them to win the Turkish Super Lig title.
He managed just an assist in his four league appearances for Monaco, prompting the move back to Galatasaray where he also won the Turkish Cup in his very successful spell with Turkish giants.
The 22-year-old is a Nigerian international with 11 caps and one goal to his name.
