26 year old Cameroon midfielder Ibrahim Amadou is close to a transfer to the Premier League to newly promoted Norwich City from FC Seville.
The Douala born player who can either play as center back or defensive midfielder does not feature in the plans of FC Seville’s new coach Julien Lopetegui.
Negotiations are on going to loan him out to Norwich with the option to make the deal permanent for 10 million Euros.
Aston Villa, another newly promoted team in the English Premier League and Belgium’s Club Brugge had also shown interest in the player.
He made just 17 appearances for FC Seville last season in the league.
Amadou joint Seville in 2018 from Lille where he made 87 league appearances scoring two goals. He is a Nancy youth product and played for their senior team 57 times before joining Lille in 2015.
