Former Cameroon youth international Brian Anunga Tah has moved from USL side Charleston Battery to MLS outfit Nashville FC.

The USL is the second tier of American soccer while the MLS is their top flight championship.

The 23-year-old former Astres of Douala midfielder made 93 appearances for Charleston Battery across all competitions in three seasons.

The former Cameroon U-20 Captain is the 25th player under contract with Nashville FC ahead of their inaugural season in Major League Soccer.

“Brian has demonstrated his ability to impact games at the USL level, and at a relatively young age,” GM Mike Jacobs pointed out in a club statement.

“His tenacity and versatility on both sides of the ball fits our profile of what we look for in deep-lying central midfielders,” Mike Jacobs added.

The hard-tackling midfielder has proven his credentials in the second tier, the stage is now set for him to make a statement of intent amongst the big boys.
