24 year old Ivorian winger Nicolas Pepe is on his way to the English Premier League from French club Lille.
Arsenal and LOSC Lille are understood to have agreed an a deal worth 80 million € for the winger despite interest from Napoli and their willingness to pay the same amount, an the player’s buyout valuation.
Pepe had a very impressive last season with Lille, scoring 23 league goals.
An agreement between Arsenal and Pepe’s representatives is still to be finalized with the deal expected to be over the line within the next 48 hours.
Pepe had an unimpressive AFCON 2019 with the Elephants of Ivory Coast but Unai Emery knows the quality of the player and will be hoping he replicates his club form last season when he becomes a Gunner.
