Kick442.com has gathered that Cameroonian defender Adolphe Teikeu Kamgang, 29 is seeking a new challenge elsewhere.
Teikeu had his contract terminated with Saudi Arabian professional football club Al-Ohod last June after the club got relegated to the second division.
Born in Bandjoun,Adolphe Teikeu began his career in Cameroon with Arsenal Yaoundé and represented Fovu of Baham as his most famous club in his country of origin before moving abroad for greener pastures.
After his exceptional run in the Under 20 national team of Cameroon in 2009,especially in the Under 20 FIFA World Cup of that year, Teikeu left signs of his big future in the minds of many Cameroonians. He will finally make his debut for the Cameroon senior national football team against South Africa in an AFCON qualifiers game in March 2016.
He would go on to win African Cup of Nations with Cameroon in 2017.
Unfortunately for the former FC Sochaux captain his success at national team level hasn’t been the same at club level.
He switched to a less mediatized Saudi championship just before the start of last season and was not included in Cameroon’s 2019 AFCON squad and after the relegation of Al Ohod he is seeking a new employer for the second summer in a row.
