20 year old forward Timothé Nkada has left his boyhood club Stade Rennais to join Stade de Reims on a four year contract.
He will continue his development under the guidance of coach David Guion.
He has been assigned the number 19 jersey and could feature for Reims in their French Ligue 1 2019/2020 season opener against Marseille over the weekend.
Nkada scored 14 goals in 23 league games for Rennes’ reserves last season and is very highly rated in France.
Though he was born and raised in Lille he is of Cameroon descent.

Reims’ Director General Mathieu Lacour was full of praise for their new jewel.
“It is a huge satisfaction to welcome this young player who comes from one of the best football academies in France. He had the possibility of staying at Rennes who just gave him a professional contract. The project we presented to him is one that aims at helping him gain maturity with the club, and have the possibility of showing all his qualities with the first team. We believe in his potentials,” Lacour said after the player’s official presentation.

Nkada can commit his sports nationality to either Cameroon or France.
