Liverpool and Bayern Munich have come to an agreement for the signing of the 30-year old Senegalese super star Sadio Mane on June 22,on a fee worth £32million.
The three year deal with Bayern is expected to run out in 2025. He will join Julian Nagelsmann and the rest of the squad in preseason this summer before the club embarks on the 2022/23 season.
The Teranga lions’ skipper joined Liverpool from Southampton in 2016 for £35million , scoring 120 goals in 269 matches for his club.
Through out his six years spell at Anfield, he holds a good number of accolades notably; a Champions League title, Premier League throne, FA Cup, EPL Cup and FIFA Club World Cup.
Liverpool will receive £32 m(£33.5m) up front for Mane, with a further £6m($6.3m) due when he meets a specified appearance clause and an additional £3m ($3.15m) based on individual and team achievements.
