27 year old uncapped Cameroonian forward, Franck Ohanza Zoa has agreed a deal to join Hernan Jianye after he left Shenzhen at the end of last season.
The striker spent the 2018 season at second tier side Shenzhen where he scored 18 goals in 23 appearances before opting to leave at the end of his contract.
The Chinese first division club he has joined is his 7th foreign club since he left Cameroonian amateur side Daga Sports Academy in 2011 for Thai Side Buririam at the age of 19. In his first season at the club he won the golden boot in the league.
The forward has since then had stints with clubs in Germany,Greece and Croatia before moving China in 2018 after 3 years at Hadjuk in Croatia.
Ohandza will join Cameroon International Christian Bassogog, an already established star at Hernan with hopes of performing well and following Bassogog to the Lions Den. He has won 12 caps and scored 8 goals for Cameroon at Under 20 Level including 4 goals scored in the 2011 under 20 world cup in Colombia but is still to be considered at senior level.
Hernan announced the capture of the forward on Friday alongside that of Henrique Dourado, Brazilain Serie A top scorer for the 2017 season.
Bassogog,Dourado and Ohandza represents real quality upfront.
“To secure a 12th place finish in the CSL as we did last season is the top priority of Henan Jianye in 2019, and it would be better if we can finish in the top ten,” club manager Guo Guangqi said on Friday.
