Transfer: Cameroonian Forward,Dona Ndoh Giving Niort Tough Times
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

32 year old Cameroonian striker,Ande Dona Ndoh looks set to end his stay at French Second Tier Side Niort where he has been in the last 4 seasons, his current contract runs out in the summer.

The Forward has notched in 11 goals in 20 French League Two games this season but looks set to leave when his current contract runs out in the summer.

“We have an option to extend, admits the Chamois boss,Karim Fradin. But if he has opportunities where he could be paid three or four times more than Niort, we will not stop him from leaving. “If he has an opportunity to make a better living elsewhere, the least we can do is let him go. Otherwise, there will always be time to discuss: there will always be a place for him here.”

The former West Coast United Striker joined Niort in 2014 and in August 2018, he became the Club’s all time top scorer after breaking Joel Bossis 53 goals record and since then extended the record to 62 goals unfortunately he seems to be getting close to the end of his time with the club.

No club’s name has been mentioned as his next destination but president Karim Fradin’s declaration is an indication that Niort may sweat to keep Dona.

Born in Meanja 32 years ago,Dona left Cameroon 15 years back. In his time away in France,he has scored goals for SCO Angers,FC Rouen,Luzenac,Le Havre amongst others.
It remains to be seen whether Niort will be able to convince him to stay or not.
