CAF Confed Cup: TP Mazembe is in Garoua

Coton Sport will go head to head with TP Mazembe on 13 Mar 2022 at Roumde Adjia Stadium in Garoua, with an eye for victory to keep their hopes alive in the ongoing CAF Confederation Cup.

The last encounter between the two sides in Group C was a victory for TP Mazembe. Currently, Coton Sport ranks 4th, while TP Mazembe holds 1st position.

The team will look to devour Coton Sport and solidify their grip in Group C. The Garoua-based on their part will look to pick up their first victory in the competition. This year hasn’t gone to plan with the Cameroonian side failing to win in three outings with two draws and a defeat in that run.

Last year, Coton Sports reached the semi-final but a defeat against TP Mazembe on home soil and a victory for the other team in their group may just put a dent in their hopes of reaching the next stage.

So, everything will rest on this game for the side in their exploits in the CAF Confederation Cup.
