The coveted TotalErnegies 2021 Africa Cup of Nations trophy tour will get to Southwest-Cameroon on Tuesday, December 28, 2021.
Kick442.com has gathered the trophy will be displayed across major cities in the region with Tiko, Buea and Limbe being the main stops as the local organizing committee steps up efforts to create awareness and attraction around the competition to kick-off in less than two weeks.
The trophy has been to all 24 nations to participate in the competition and the tour is rounding off in Cameroon.
The one-day stop in Southwest which host group F will add to a number of activities that have been done so far to prepare for the soccer frenzy.
The tournament’s mascot, Mola, was in Southwest two weeks ago and attracted commentaries and attention alike.
Group A: Cameroon, Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Cape Verde
Group B: Senegal, Zimbabwe, Guinea, Malawi
Group C: Morocco, Ghana, Comoros, Gabon
Group D: Nigeria, Egypt, Sudan, Guinea-Bissau
Group E: Algeria, Sierra-Leone, Equatorial Guinea, Côte d’Ivoire
Group F: Tunisia, Mali, Mauritania, Gambia
