Guinean head coach and former Arsenal striker Kaba Diawara has published a 27-man squad to kick-start training ahead of the 33rd edition of the TotalErnegies AFCON to be staged on Cameroonian soil.
The squad announced this Tuesday includes Liverpool FC star Baby Keita who is expected to skipper the team alongside Florentin Pogba. Florentin is the elder brother of Manchester United’s Paul Pogba.
In all, there are nine defenders,nine midfielders, six forwards in what looks like Guinea’s final squad for the tournament.

Guinea will be counting on Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita to lead the West African nation’s challenge in Cameroon from January 9th to February 6 across six hosts.
The Syli National of Guinea are lodged in Group B, alongside Senegal, Malawi and Zimbabwe. And will have her first game on January 10th, against Malawi at 5pm within the Kouekong Bafoussam Omnisport arena.
