The Eagles of Mali head coach Mohamed Magassouba has made public a 40-man squad to brace up for the 33rd edition of the African soccer mass slated for Cameroon, in January 9th to February 6th.
The forty-man team is a melange of the finest Malian talents, with some prominent players to the likes of Souleymanou Diarra, Adama Traore, Mohamed Camara and Youssouf Kone.

In the 2019 AFCON held in Egypt, Mali ‘s four goals from El Hacen, Traore, Samassekou and Doumbia had permitted the Eagles to pick an edge on debutants Mauritania. However, they were booted out from the prestigious tournament by Ivory Coast by a 1 nil defeat.
Featuring in Group F, alongside Tunisia, Gambia and Mauritania. Head coach Magassouba and boys will pick their first challenge against Tunisia , on January 12th at the 20,000 seating capacity Limbe-Ngeme Omnisport stadium.
