Sudan’s men’s national football team will travel to Cameroon on Monday December 27, 2021 ahead of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations tournament early next year.
The North Africans will arrive Cameroon in the later hours of the day through the Yaounde Nsimalen International Airport via a special flight from Sudanese capital, Khartoum.

The 1970 champions will jet into the country after conducting Covid-19 tests and holding a farewell ceremony, Kick442.Com has exclusively gathered from sources closer to the team.
The Falcons of Jediane will be based in Yaounde and will be expected to train in the capital city before leaving for it’s based in Garoua.
The Head Coach of the side, Burhan Tia on Sunday December 26, released a provisional squad to represent the country during the forthcoming continental football showpiece. This, after the country rounded off a close to two-week long training at the Khartoum National Stadium where the outfit has been camping since its exit from the 2021 FIFA Arab Cup in Qatar early this month.
Sudan will be in its 10th participation in the Africa Cup of Nations and their first in over 9 years since the team’s memorable quarterfinal exit in 2012 in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.
The side will be lodged in Group D of the tournament, termed by many as the group of death. The North Africans will be battling out with seven time holders, Egypt, three time winners, the Super Eagles of Nigeria and Guinea Bissau at the Garoua Roumde Adjia Stadium.
The 2021 Africa Cup of Nations takes place in Cameroon from January 9 to February 6, 2022.
