The 25 year old Sierra Leonean keeper Mohamed Kamara has earned Man of the Match title, after the crucial zero-zero game against AFCON title holders the Fennec of Algeria.
The young, vibrant keeper has been in the Sierra Leone Senior national football team for five years now. Still playing in his own country with East End lions, but if he keeps playing to this standard, he will have a great chance of earning a move.
Chris Kamara had played for the under-17 and 17 categories. And is enjoying a hard earned point for his father’s country.
The Sierra Leone players celebrated wildly in front of their fans after earning a point. Sierra Leone overcooked their corner and Riyad Mahrez leads the counter-attacks.
Algeria turned the screw at the 68th minutes of play, with a hot shot from Riyad Mahrez that saw goalkeeper Mohamed Kamara once more appearing to style himself as the Manuel Neuer of West Africa as he charges out of his box to win a header.
The ball turned falls to Riyad Mahrez but, the Sierra Leone defence hold him up for just enough for Kamara to get back into the penalty area and make the save.
