Ivory Coast’s international midfielder Jean Michael Seri playing for English side Fulham FC, was crowned Man Of The Match in Ivory Coast’s first group E game against the National Thunder of Equatorial Guinea, Wednesday 12 January 2022 in Japoma stadium.
The Elephants of Ivory Coast secured all three points beating Equatorial Guinea 1#0, alone goal from captain Max Alain Gradel.
Central playmaker Jean Michael Seri stayed focus through our the game, intercepting almost all set-pieces initiated by the National Thunder.
The 31-year-old who plays for English side Fulham FC also displayed very tactical moves, complete passes and tackles, true balls and organized the rest of the median, which earned him man of match title.
Jean Michaël Seri is an Ivorian professional footballer who plays as a central midfielder for Ivory Coast national team and English side Fulham FC. He debuted for Ivory Coast in 2011 with the Under 23 team, making three appearances. In 2015, he joined the senior men’s national team featuring 33 times scoring four goals.
Seri has played for clubs such as Nice in France, Galasataray, Bordeaux Fulham and others counting 23 goals for clubs and country.
In 2017, he won OGC Nice Player of the Year, Premier League Goal of the Month in August 2018. He constituted the UNFP Ligue 1 Team of the Year: 2016–17 and won the Prix Marc-Vivien Foé same year.
